Not sure when it’s time for MyHealios?
Here are just a few examples of when MyHealios can help:
- Your loved one has schizophrenia, dementia, MS or another chronic illness. You’re feeling overwhelmed or unprepared and you’re not sure how to handle some of the things that are happening in daily life.
- You have practical questions about a disease, treatments, and the health system and need support navigating it all.
- The added strain of managing a serious, chronic disease is making you stressed and affecting your relationships and ability to enjoy life.
- You need help communicating with the loved ones about treatments, day-to-day challenges, and behaviors
Caregivers and patients enrolled with MyHealios consistently provide positive feedback about our services and report significant positive changes in their lives as a result of our program. Here’s what some of our clients have to say:
“MyHealios is not talk therapy but it’s looking at and having solutions and coping skills. I came away with knowledge and things were presented in a slightly different way and it was very helpful.”
“I really liked the structure and the content of MyHealios. It was very applicable to what I was dealing with. The lessons met what I was faced with at the time. I really liked the practice – it was accountability for me; making sure I was learning. I liked some of the things I could control – trying to work on reflection and learning skills.”
“I really liked my therapist. I would rate her as excellent. She listened really well and reflected back that she got it. She reassured me a lot… that I was doing a good job and to keep up the good work. The timing of it worked out really well and I needed her encouragement.”
Families and patients affected by chronic conditions often experience significant challenges as they adapt to illness and changing life situations. While it is Medicare and Medicaid policy to provide valuable support via family behavioral therapy, few treatment teams have the capacity required to effectively implement it. MyHealios is working to fill this gap by becoming an essential partner for caregivers and patients affected by serious illness. We leverage technology and condition-specific expertise to ensure patients and families receive expert support and are empowered to live better as a result. But we don’t do this important work alone. We are thankful for partnerships and engagement with the medical community, health insurance organizations, pharmaceutical companies, patient groups, and other stakeholders as we strive to improve life for patients and caregivers around the world.
Meet Our Founder and CEO – Guilhem Dupont
The idea for MyHealios came out of Guilhem’s personal experiences when someone close to him struggled with mental illness. While trying to support this person, Guilhem realized that most of the services available for caregivers included general information and basic listening – important interventions, but Guilhem needed more. “Specific help navigating challenging situations and, even better, preventing those situations in the first place would have made daily life much less stressful,” he says. “So, I stared MyHealios to more thoroughly support caregivers and patients in the practical daily difficulties of living with a chronic, life-changing illness.”
MyHealios was founded to help as many people as possible, which is why MyHealios is a tele-health program. Using convenient, intuitive technology, we can now make high-quality, expert-led support for those living with schizophrenia, other serious mental illnesses, Alzheimer’s, MS, and severe insomnia truly convenient and accessible.
