A STUDY OF PSYCHOEDUCATION AND SKILLS TRAINING

The main purpose of this study is to see if psycho-education and skills training provided over a 6 month time period will benefit a patient’s caregiver which will then overall benefit the patient.

What is the role of MyHealios in the study?

MyHealios clinicians provide an evidence-based psychoeducation and skills training program to caregivers participating in the study.

What are the benefits of being in the study?

There is no medical benefit to you by being in this study. It is unknown whether there is any benefit to you by participating in the psychoeducation and skills training sessions. By taking part, you may help future patients and caregivers of schizophrenia patients.

What are the possible risks and inconveniences of being in the observational study?

There are no tests that cause pain or discomfort or physical risks performed while enrolled in this observational study.

What qualifications do MyHealios staff have?

MyHealios clinicians have Master’s degree in Social Work. MyHealios provides clinicians with additional, ongoing training and regular supervision by MyHealios’ Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Consultant Psychiatrist.
